The D-Link DRW-100U is an external USB CD-R/RW that reads CD?s at 6x speed, writes to blank CD?s at 4x speed and can rewrite to rewritable CD?s at 4x speed. It is ideal for backing up important documents or archiving data. It is targeted at home and business users.

The DRW-100U supports write speeds of 1x, 2x, and 4x. It also supports rewrite speeds of 1x, 2x and 4x. It uses the high speed USB interface to transfer data to and from the DRW-100U. To ensure proper write and rewrite functions, the DRW-100U features a 2 MB internal buffer that is utilized for constant data transfer.

Windows XP Support:
Drivers for this product are built in to the XP operating system. If you are using Windows XP, just simply connect the device to your computer. Windows XP will find the new hardware and install the drivers automatically.
