NOTE:

• If the drivers are already installed into your computer, uninstall them first before you install the new driver. To uninstall the current drivers, download the Uninstall Tool. To see how to download and use the Uninstall Tool, click here.
  
  
• Unplug the FAX/DCP/MFC from the AC outlet and disconnect your FAX/DCP/MFC from your computer if you already connected an interface cable.
  
  
• If you are using Windows® 2000 Professional, you must be logged on as the Administrator.

1. Make a temporary directory on your HDD to save the downloaded self-extracting file, e.g. C:\bront
2. Click on the "Download" button and download the file.
3. Double click the file to extract it.
4. Two folders, "MFLPRO" and "ParaUSB" are created.
   Open the "MFLPRO\Setupxxxx" directory (xxxx = model name) and double click "Setup.exe" while holding down the "Shift" key.

*NOTE:
If your FAX/DCP/MFC is connected to the PC, the error message:
"Restart the PC without connecting the cable to the FAX/DCP/MFC and follow the installation steps" appears. Following the message, disconnect the cable and restart the PC.

5. Click "Next".
6. Click "Next".
7. The Connect Cable window will appear.
8. For Parallel Users:
   1.Turn the FAX/DCP/MFC off.
   2.Connect the FAX/DCP/MFC to your PC with the Parallel cable.
   3.Turn the FAX/DCP/MFC on.
   4.Click "Next".
   
   For USB Users:
   Turn the FAX/DCP/MFC on, and then connect the FAX/DCP/MFC to your PC with the USB cable.
   
   
9. ReadMe text file comes up. To go to the next step, close the file.
10. Click "Finish".
