Huawei, Xiaomi, ZTE Were Listed on Top Ten of Global Smartphones


On CES, issued by the reputable organization IDC, the list of Global Leading Brands in 2014~2015 has announced that Chinese smartphone brands Coolpad, ZTE and Huawei were shortlisted for Global Top Ten Leading Brands of Smart Internet Devices and Global Top Ten Leading Brands of Smartphones in 2014~2015, and shared the award with Apple, Samsung and other global famous brands.

The lists was published at 2015 CES to 200 world authoritativeAi??media, industry experts, business representatives and global smart Internet industry. Besides Coolpad, other four Chinese domestic brands were also on the lists, they are ZTE, Huawei, Lenovo and Xiaomi. These five Chinese enterprises have highlighted the new charm of Chinese brands technology to global consumers. Coolpad won the award again after 2013.


It was reported that, this event generally systematizedAi??andAi??evaluated brands of global smart Internet devices and smart phones. Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Lenovo, LG, Xiaomi, Coolpad, ZTE, Nokia and Sony were chosen into list of Global Top Ten Leading Brands of Smart Phones, while at last selection on the list of Global Top Ten Leading Brands of Smart Internet Devices were Samsung, Apple, Lenovo, Huawei, LG, HP, Xiaomi, Dell, Coolpad and ZTE.

According to the statistics of IDC, the shipments of both global smart Internet devices and smartphones had exceeded 1 billion in the year of 2012 and 2013 respectively; meanwhile IDC also predicted that global shipments of smart phone markets would increase with the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) 18.4%. In 2017, shipments of global smart phone would be close to 1.7 billion, while total shipments of smart Internet devices would be more than 2.2 billion, and the total revenue would hit a staggering-$ 814.3 billion.
